Be the story, not the ad.

An advert tells people you are good. A journalist telling them is worth more, lasts longer, and shows up in search for years. We build the angle, the assets and the relationships that earn that coverage.

Read this carefully: these are the desks we pitch to, grouped by how hard they are to earn. Naming an outlet here does not mean a Spire Media client has appeared in it, and it is not a promise that yours will. Whether a story runs is the editor's decision, and it depends on whether the story is genuinely newsworthy. Any agency showing you these names as a wall of logos is implying something we are not going to imply.

What it looks like

A placement is a story, not a mention.

The goal is not your logo in a list. It is a journalist writing something a reader actually finishes — with your name, your numbers and your point of view inside it.

That is the difference between coverage that sits in a portfolio and coverage that brings you enquiries for years afterwards.

Logistics

How a Ras Al Khaimah logistics firm cut delivery times by a third

The founder spent two years rebuilding a route planning system that most of the sector still runs on spreadsheets. Now competitors are asking how it was done.

“We stopped guessing which van went where. That was the whole trick.”

Illustration of how a feature is laid out — not a real article, and not a Spire Media placement.

Why it matters

Coverage does things advertising cannot.

Third-party credibility

You can say anything about your own business. When an editor says it, the claim carries weight you cannot buy with ad spend.

It ranks, and it stays

A published article keeps appearing for your name long after a campaign budget runs out — and gives search engines a trusted source about you.

It feeds your entity

Independent coverage is the evidence Google looks for when deciding whether you are a recognised entity. PR and Knowledge Panel work pull in the same direction.

It shortens diligence

Investors, partners and buyers search you before a meeting. Real articles answer their questions before they have to ask.

Where coverage lands

Four places a story can go.

We target by tier and relevance, not by chasing one famous masthead. A trade title your buyers actually read is usually worth more than a national mention nobody in your market sees.

01

Industry and trade press

The titles your customers, suppliers and competitors read every week. Highest conversion, most achievable, and usually where we start.

02

Regional UAE and GCC media

Business desks and English and Arabic outlets across the Emirates and the wider Gulf, for companies whose market is here.

03

National business and finance press

The mastheads everyone recognises. Hardest to earn, longest lead times, and genuinely dependent on whether the story is newsworthy.

04

Broadcast, podcasts and newsletters

Interviews and guest appearances. Often overlooked, frequently the easiest route to a warm, engaged audience.

How it works

Five stages, from angle to amplification.

Angle

We find what is genuinely newsworthy about you — data, a milestone, a contrarian view, a founder story — because "we exist and we are great" is not a story anyone will run.

Assets

Press release, media kit, founder biography, quotable statements, images. Everything a journalist needs so saying yes is easy.

Outreach

Targeted, personal pitches to the specific writers who cover your beat — not a blast to a bought list, which is how brands get blocked.

Placement

We manage the back and forth: follow-ups, interview scheduling, fact checks and approvals until the piece runs.

Amplify

Published coverage gets linked, shared and worked into your own site and profiles, so one article keeps paying back.

Know what you are buying

Earned coverage and paid placement are not the same thing.

Plenty of agencies sell the second while implying the first. Here is the honest difference, so you can judge any proposal — ours or anyone else's.

Earned coverage

  • A journalist chose to write it because it was worth writing
  • No payment to the publication
  • Cannot be guaranteed, by us or anyone
  • Timelines depend on news cycles
  • Carries full editorial credibility
  • Usually a followed link, which helps your SEO
Read this before you buy — from anyone

We do not guarantee placements.

No agency controls what an editor publishes. Anyone promising you a guaranteed feature in a named national title is either selling you sponsored content without calling it that, or is about to disappoint you. What we guarantee is the work: the angle, the assets, the outreach, and honest reporting on where it landed and where it did not.

If a story genuinely is not there yet, we will tell you at the start and suggest what would make it newsworthy — rather than take a retainer to pitch something no journalist will run.

What you get

Deliverables, every month.

Story angles

A running list of newsworthy hooks drawn from your business, refreshed as things happen rather than invented once at kickoff.

Press releases and media kit

Written to house style, with the boilerplate, biographies and images journalists ask for already prepared.

Targeted media list

The specific writers covering your sector, why each is a fit, and what they have recently published.

Outreach and follow-up

Personalised pitching and the persistent, polite chasing that most placements actually depend on.

Interview preparation

Likely questions, sharp answers and the lines you want quoted, so you are ready when a journalist calls.

Plain-language reporting

What was pitched, who replied, what ran, and what did not — including the misses, which tell you more than the wins.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long before we see coverage?

Assets and media lists take the first few weeks. Trade coverage often lands within the first month or two; national press takes longer and depends entirely on whether the story fits what that desk is covering. Anyone quoting you a fixed date is guessing.

Can you get us into a specific publication?

We can pitch it, and we will tell you honestly how likely it is. We cannot promise it, because the decision belongs to that publication's editor. If a named outlet is non-negotiable for you, the only certain route is their sponsored content desk — which we can arrange, clearly labelled as paid.

What makes a business newsworthy?

Something that is new, surprising, or useful to that publication's readers. Funding, a launch, proprietary data, a milestone, a strong contrarian view, or a founder story with real texture. Being competent at what you do, unfortunately, is not itself news.

Do you write the articles?

We write the pitch, the release and any contributed pieces where the outlet accepts them. Staff-written articles are written by the journalist — we supply the material, the access and the quotes.

How does PR sit with the SEO work?

They compound. Earned articles are exactly the kind of independent, credible reference that improves rankings and supports a Knowledge Panel. Running both together is why coverage tends to move search results, not just brand awareness.

What does it cost?

PR is scoped per campaign, because the work behind a single launch announcement and an ongoing programme are very different. You get pricing in writing before anything starts, in line with our Terms & Conditions.

Next step

Tell us what happened lately.

A launch, a hire, a number that moved, a strong opinion. Send it over and we will tell you honestly whether there is a story in it — and where it could run.
